common man were also addressed through lectures and interaction. Renowned doctors from all over India, appliance manufacturers, researchers and trained para-medicos conducted different sessions. Over 2,00,000 visitors from every stratum of the society visited the event. The event was jointly organised by Vigyan Bharati Vidarbha Pradesh Mandal, Indian Medical Association, National Cancer Institute, and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. Vigyan Prasar organised a Health Science Quiz for the students. VP books,
CDs and other resource content were also displayed during the event.
The water conservation movement in Kerala
‘Water Conservation Week’ in Kerala was organised by Swadeshi Science Movement- Kerala (a unit of Vijnana Bharati). Vigyan Prasar joined as Knowledge Partner in the programme. A quiz on Water Conservation was organised in Kochi during the event.
