Adaptive to CIP (Continual Improvement Programme) & Required Changes Immediately
VP has proactively adapted to emerging technologies, keeping in view the changing habits of content consumers. VP has benchmarked itself to global best practices and thus, has adhered to quality standards in form of CIP (Continual Improvement Program). VP has been continuously reviewing, auditing and reinventing its programs on a timely manner through impact analyses.
Engaged in showcasing India’s contribution in S&T
VP is the only government agency that is dedicatedly engaged in showcasing India’s contribution in science & technology. Notable include Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, a national level science talent search, News syndicate through India Science Wire, Science Monitor, Eureka and much more.
Mandated as National Agency for Science Communication Tasks of National & International Missions
VP has been mandated as the national agency for implementing science communication aspects of national & international years related to science & technology. Notable includes International Year of Light, Astronomy etc. declared by UN. Similar example is organizing the National Year of Mathematics, Biodiversity etc declared by the Government of India.
