Welcome to the turtle family!
There are about 200 types of turtle, all
different, but all unmistakably turtles.
Most turtles live in or near water.
Sea turtles lay eggs on land.
Some almost never go near land,
except to lay eggs.
Some live in deserts.
They eat everything from tough
vegetation to seaweed, to fruit.
Genesis tells us that God commanded all
living things to reproduce "after its kind",
which mean'!; He created distinct "familes"
of plant and animal.
Within each kind there is plenty of room for
variety, which allows living things to adapt
to a changing environment, but change is
not evolution.
Genesis and good Science go together,
as Science confirms how turtles have a
set number of genes, a number which
never increases.
This is why turtles are turtles, and from
them all we ever get are more turtles.
