                       (i) Densifies non cohesive soil by aid of vibration and improves the ground.
 Usually   Two methods    (ii) Improves non compactible cohesive soil by installation of load bearing column of well
 Diameter: 0.8 – 1m    compacted, coarse grained backfill material.
 Depth: 6 - 20m
 Spacing: 1.5-2.5m c/c

 Design: stability, settlement, gain strength
 Parameters : loading, column radius & spacing, replacement
