2 The Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) and the Royal Institution of
Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) is one of the body in charge of the Quantity
Surveying profession in Malaysia.
i. Generally the function of Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) is to
control and protect licensed Quantity Surveyor. Every Quantity Surveyor who
wanted to set up a Quantity Surveyor Firm must first registered to BQSM.
