OverDrive: OverDrive also allow you to embed a sample of your ebook, as displayed on their website, to incorporate into your website. Go to https://www.overdrive.com, locate your ebook using the search fields and then within the share options pick ‘Embed’ to access the html code, which can then be copied and pasted and supplied to your web designer for use on your website.
Embedding widgets and banner adverts into your web page
Apple’s iBooks also offers a series of embedding options, where you can – on your website – produce an attractive banner or ‘advert’ about your ebook being on sale on the iBookstore; when clicked, it takes a reader direct to your ebook. If you have a web designer, you’ll simply need to create the link to the banner coding by following the instructions on iBooks and then copying the code generated to send to your web designer.
