To create an iBooks banner, go to https://banners.itunes.apple.com/gb.
Type in your ebook title, then click the ebook once found.
This opens a new page with the html code that needs to be copied and supplied to your web designer. There is also a preview of how it might look once you’ve added all the information.
iTunes also offer web widgets – an interactive, graphical web-based element, that can – like the banner above – be incorporated into your website. Go to https://widgets.itunes.apple.com/builder and select the type of widget you want.
Book Search or Book Discover are likely to be the best matches. Type in your ebook title and adjust the colours and sizes as you wish. Copy the coding and send to your web developer.
If you are unsure how these work, then you can simply pass the links above to your web designer, who should be able to generate the widgets or banners for you.
