The academic
Albert stayed at the patent office for a few
more years after publishing his papers in
1905. That, however, was all about to change!
The scientific world would not allow such
an extraordinary mind to remain in this kind of
job for long. Academics were quickly realizing
they had a once-in-a-generation genius on their
hands, and they had to bring Albert into the
world of academia, where he belonged—and
as soon as possible!
1905 was an important year for Albert
because he earned his doctorate and was
thereafter known as “Dr.
Einstein.” To earn a
