Year–long Courses Alternating Day Courses:
    Principal approval is required for classes dropped after the 8th class
           meeting; the student may not select an additional course after
           September 14, 2018.
    If a student changes a high school course within five days in the
           alternating block schedule following the first marking period, the course
           will not appear on the permanent record as a drop-pass or drop-fail.
           This will NOT be computed into the grade point average.
    If the course is dropped after five class days in the alternating block
           schedule following the first marking period, it will be recorded on the
           permanent record with a grade of “F” for the year. This will be computed
           into the grade point average.

4x4 Block Courses:

    Principal approval is required for classes dropped after the 10th day of
           school; the student may not select an additional course after September
           17, 2018.

    If a student changes a high school course within three days in the
           alternating block schedule following the first marking period, the course
           will be shown on the permanent record as a drop-pass or drop-fail. This
           will NOT be computed into the grade point average.

    If the course is dropped after three class days in the 4x4 schedule
           following the first marking period, it will be recorded on the permanent
           record with a grade of “F” for the year. This will be computed into the
           grade point average.
