Year–long Courses Alternating Day Courses:
Principal approval is required for classes dropped after the 8th class
meeting; the student may not select an additional course after
September 14, 2018.
If a student changes a high school course within five days in the
alternating block schedule following the first marking period, the course
will not appear on the permanent record as a drop-pass or drop-fail.
This will NOT be computed into the grade point average.
If the course is dropped after five class days in the alternating block
schedule following the first marking period, it will be recorded on the
permanent record with a grade of “F” for the year. This will be computed
into the grade point average.
4x4 Block Courses:

school; the student may not select an additional course after September
17, 2018.
If a student changes a high school course within three days in the
alternating block schedule following the first marking period, the course
will be shown on the permanent record as a drop-pass or drop-fail. This
will NOT be computed into the grade point average.
If the course is dropped after three class days in the 4x4 schedule
following the first marking period, it will be recorded on the permanent
record with a grade of “F” for the year. This will be computed into the
grade point average.
