New Sale Checklist
Review contracts and paperwork before inputting into ZIPforms
Deliver Earnest money check to office immediately
Obtain Pre-approval or proof of funds
Verify buyer has applied for financing
Arrange home inspections and help buyer negotiate repair requests
Select a closing attorney
Verify appraisal has been ordered
Stay updated on Buyer’s loan status
Stay updated on closing attorney’s progress
Review CL100 prior to closing
Verify all contract contingencies have been satisfied
Deliver any earnest money to the closing attorney
Arrange for closing date (in-person/mail away)
Review Closing Document/Settlement Statement prior to closing
Verify walkthrough has been completed if desired
Attend closing with client or be available for any issues
After Deeds have recorded property keys can be given to buyers
Retrieve a copy of the CD/settlement statement with commission check from Buyer’s attorney
Turn all checks and settlement paperwork into the office
