Legal Protect the rights of honest people wrongly under suspicion
framework Assume that everything you do and do not do will be scrutinized by
a court
Do nothing that might compromise your position
Take no action unless it conforms with your objectives and is part of
the investigations plan
Remember that most investigations are compromised within 2
hours of discovery
Plan to catch the suspects by surprise as part of the FIRST STEP (see
below)

Assume the suspicions are true and probably worse than
you currently know. This is the safe course
