LAMINATING
LAMINATING
CALL OR VISIT US ONLINE FOR A COMPLETE LIST OF EQUIPMENT
Laminating is all about the enhancement, protection, and preservation of documents. It can be as basic as a pouch
laminator and single sheet pouches or as advanced as a high-speed industrial laminator with a sheet feeder, trimmer
and 10,000’ length rolls of film.
Thermal laminators use heated rollers or heat shoes to melt the adhesive, allowing film to adhere to the paper. Pressure
sensitive laminators make cold laminating easy by use of tension and pressure to apply self-adhesive film to printed
media. Thermal laminating is the more cost effective option of the two. With an unrivaled product inventory, Cortech's
warehouse is centrally located providing short lead times on shipments. Cortech has laminators and laminating film
available to meet whatever production level you may require, and remember, if your work is worth printing, it is worth
laminating!
POUCH LAMINATORS
FEATURING: PROLAM ULTRA-X6
Pouch laminating machines are often used in copy shop, educational and office environment applications. They are
easy-to-use, easy-to-move, and the least expensive of all laminating machines.
Pouch laminators use a film pouch that is sealed on one edge and coated with heat-activated adhesive on the inside.
Documents are centered between the two sheets of film and fed into the machine where heat from the rollers melts the
adhesive and seals the pouch shut.
Cortech has pouch laminators from 3 1/2” to 13” wide that can laminate up to 10.0 mil thickness. If you are using
identification cards, data sheets, menus, etc., you can protect and preserve your documents with Cortech’s pouch
laminating products.
DESKTOP LAMINATORS
FEATURING: RSL 2702
When documents to be laminated are larger than 12” wide or more than
a few sheets at a time, a desktop roll laminator may be the answer.
Cortech offers both heat shoe and hot roll laminators in 13” to 27”
widths. We have compact-design models which are capable of single
or two-sided laminating; some have mounting capabilities, taking these
desktop laminators to the next level. The ability to laminate up to 10 mil
film thickness, as well as auto-off, stand-by, digital controls and a rear
trimmer are a few of the features available with our laminators.
Use a desktop laminator for low-volume production of posters, menus,
maps, teaching aids, reports and more.
