PERFECT BINDING SUPPLIES

Cortech offers a complete line of perfect binding adhesives suitable for most types of perfect binders. We have different
types of EVA and PUR adhesives, from standard adhesives to more aggressive adhesives that perform well with digitally
printed products. Cortech has partnered with one of the leading manufacturers of perfect binding adhesives to formulate
the DuraGlue products. Please call for product availability.

DURAGLUE 661
The DuraGlue 661 is an opaque adhesive designed for perfect binders which require a lower melting point.
It is an excellent adhesive for all types of perfect binding including digitally printed products. It has a melting
point of 150ºC (300ºF)

DURAGLUE 9421
The Duraglue 9421 is a highly aggressive semi-translucent adhesive that binds well with all paper stocks and digitally
printed covers. This adhesive runs at about 160ºC (320ºF) and cures to a semi clear strong bond. A premium adhesive
for the digital print finishing line.

STANDARD HM-225
The Standard HM 225 adhesive is a high quality general purpose adhesive. It runs about 165ºC (329ºF).

DURAGLUE PUR PELLETIZED HOT MELT
The DuraGlue PUR Pelletized Hot Melt brings the advantages of PUR technology to the short run market, eliminating
the need for expensive hardware and pumps. PUR glue creates and exceptional bond with digital prints.

BQ-470 PERFECT BINDER

The BQ-470 perfect binder dramatically increases productivity with
fully automated setup and book binding up to 2 1/2" thick at speeds
up to 1,350 books per hour. Quick-change adhesive system allows
switching between EVA and PUR adhesive in just minutes. Maximum
glue penetration and a superior side glue application system ensure
high-quality output and strong, square binds with every book.
