How to Enroll

New Hires
It is important to review your beneit options carefully because the choices you make remain in effect for the
remainder of the plan year and cannot be changed until the next annual Open Enrollment period, unless you
experience a qualifying event (see below).
Read this guide, and review your various beneit options. Then, simply complete your new hire enrollment
through our online system. Directions for completing your enrollment will be provided separately. You must
complete your enrollment within 31 days of your hire date/eligibility date for beneits.

Annual Open Enrollment
Each year you have the opportunity to change your beneit coverage and select the beneits that it you
and your family best. GLG’s annual Open Enrollment will be in November of each new year. Look for an
announcement via email.

During annual Open Enrollment, you may:

> Change your beneit selection
> Change your coverage level
> Add or delete covered dependents
> Participate in the Flexible Spending Account*

Qualifying Life Events
One time per year, during Open Enrollment you may select your beneits for the upcoming year. The
Open Enrollment period is the only time you can make a change to your beneits, unless you experience a
qualifying life event.

Examples of qualifying life events include:
> Birth or adoption of an eligible child

> Marriage or divorce
> A change in your or your spouse’s employment status
> You or your dependent becomes enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid

> Your dependent ceases to satisfy the dependent eligibility requirements
Changes in your coverage elections must be made within 30 days of the qualifying life event. You are
responsible for making any changes during this time period through our online system.

For further information on eligible qualifying life events, please contact the GLG People Team at
HRsupport@glg.it

* Participation in the Flexible Spending Account is not automatically renewed. You must enroll each year to participate in either the Medical or Dependent
Care reimbursement account.
