Short Term Disability (STD)
Nortek’s Short Term Disability (STD) plan can replace some of your
income if you become ill or injured and cannot work. Employees working
at least 30 hours per week are automatically enrolled in the STD plan at
no cost.
Plan Details STD*
Waiting period 7 Calendar Days
Beneit 65% of earnings, up to $2,500 per week
Maximum beneit period 180 days (6 months)
Payment provided by Nortek
* STD beneits are paid by Nortek on your regular pay schedule and are taxable. All
applicable payroll deductions, including beneit premiums, will be withheld from STD
payments.
