CIGNA Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage
ALCO offers medical and prescription drug beneits through CIGNA.
You can search for providers by accessing CIGNA’s website at
www.mycigna.com and selecting the Open Access Plus (OAP) network.
A high level summary of beneits is located on the following page with
few changes to the out-of-network plan design. Please see your CIGNA
beneits summary which is located in your Paycom documents.
ALCO rewards employees and spouses who do not use tobacco/nicotine
products and who are enrolled in the medical plan by continuing to
offer a lower monthly premium. Tobacco/nicotine use contributes to
many health conditions, which not only increases medical costs, but also
decreases your quality of life.
How to Get the Lower Medical Premiums
If you and/or your spouse are covered under ALCO’s medical plan and
want to qualify for the non-tobacco user premium, you and/or your
spouse must certify you and/or your spouse do not use tobacco/nicotine
or have not used tobacco/nicotine products in the past two months. If
you and/or your spouse are currently a tobacco/nicotine user, but are
willing to participate in a tobacco cessation program, you will have until
December 31, 2016 to complete the requirements to be eligible to receive
the non-tobacco user premium. The requirements are located on page 6
of this enrollment guide.
