Brainshark Project Guide
Creating a Spanish Brainshark
It is important to set the expectation upfront with the client that a
Spanish Brainshark will take more time than an English Brainshark.
To get a Spanish Brainshark started, the client irst must inalize the
English version of the Brainshark.
Translation
Once the English version is inalized, we will send the English off
to Sajan for translation. Generally, Sajan takes a day to translate
approximately 1,500 words so plan this in your project timeline
accordingly.
Please note we will work with any translation partner a client requests
us to work with. However, we will not go to market for translation
services. If a client wants to get different pricing options, the client
needs to obtain quotes themselves.
If using Sajan, it must be determined whether the cost will be passed
through to the client, if the producer will absorb the cost, or if
Lockton will absorb the cost
Recording
Once translation is complete, EBCC will plug the Spanish text into the
Brainshark and the presentation will be ready to be recorded. At this
point the client has two options.
1. The client can pay Brainshark professional services to record the
presentation. Brainshark professional requires a minimum of 10
days to complete a recording.
2. The client can ind an on-site employee to record the presentation
and EBCC can send them instructions and access to do the
recording. Please note: this option is more cost-effective and takes a
lot less time.
