À Make language generic enough so the client can use the
presentation throughout the year rather than strictly for open
enrollment (for example, say beneits enrollment instead of open
enrollment)
À Contact information such as phone numbers, websites, email
addresses, etc. need to be excluded from the script and only a part
of the slide content; for example, the slide content can have a
website listed and the script can say “Please go to the website listed
here for more information”
À As soon as you know the suite your client will be in for the year,
remember to get the PowerPoint from the previous year into the
queue to be lipped into the new suite; don’t wait until busy season
to do this if at all possible
À We recommend instructing the client to highlight all edits they
make or make a note on every slide an edit is made; even if they are
only editing slide content, this will prompt you to true up the script
to the slide content
À When clients are editing the Brainshark after the initial recording,
encourage them to edit the whole presentation and make an
entire round of edits; if more than one person at the client will be
reviewing, tell them all reviewers must sign off on all edits before
edits are submitted to EBCC
À Because slides may be inserted into your project after the initial
PPT load, we recommend removing slide numbers from the
PowerPoint so the order of your slides is never “off;” you can edit
these kinds of PPT features in the “Slide Master” view (see below)
