Submitting a Claim
All eligible expenses must be incurred by the end of the plan year on
April 30, 2019 and must be submitted to WageWorks for reimbursement
by July 31 of that year. FSA claim forms are available on the intranet or at
www.wageworks.com.
Reimbursements from your FSA accounts can be processed when you
submit a claim via either a paper form or online submission through
wageworks.com. Through wageworks.com you can set up convenient direct
deposit reimbursements to your account. If you do not set up direct deposit,
reimbursements will be mailed as a check to you.
Use It or Lose It
You should carefully consider your dependent care FSA contribution amounts
for the 2018–19 plan year. You must also ensure you do not contribute more
than $5,000 during any calendar year. At the end of the year, you lose any
money left over in your FSA. So it is important to plan carefully and not put
more money in your FSA than you think you will spend on eligible dependent
care expenses during the plan year. You have the ability to increase or decrease
your election throughout the year if you change daycare providers and the cost
of services change. The request must be made within 31 days of the date of
change.
