This launch has aligned with the Year of the Family 2026, reflecting DCD Abu

Dhabi’s commitment to enhancing quality of life by positioning families as key

contributors to community development. The initiative has encouraged active

family involvement while strengthening social connections within

neighborhoods.

The Al Aamerah activation has featured two dedicated platforms aimed at

nurturing creativity and entrepreneurship across different age groups. The first

platform, ‘From Our Home’, has targeted children aged 3 to 9, enabling them to

create, display, and sell handmade crafts and simple food items such as baked

goods and juices under family supervision.

The second platform, ‘The Pioneers’, has focused on youth aged 9 to 21,

allowing participants to manage their own market stalls. It has enabled them to

sell products or offer services such as photography, design, and tutoring, while

also providing opportunities to showcase emerging brands and entrepreneurial

ideas.
