some fresh flowers or fresh citrus on your counter
and if it is an eat-in kitchen, switch up your table
with some lighter, brighter colors.
Sprucing up your home for spring can be done
with minimal changes that you can make yourself.
Take a walk around your home and note the things
that make you think “winter” and change them.
You’ll see them again next year but for now, let the
sun shine in and “Imagine Fabulous”, we always do!
Let’s move on to your bedroom. Your windows
are clean, new window treatments have been add-
ed. So when you take away your winter comforter
to add a light blanket, change the spread or com-
forter to a lighter material and color. Consider tex-
ture. Winter textures are heavy and warming. You
want to add light, silky, rich materials. Change out
your accent pillows to reflect the new season. If
you love pastels, add them here. Want a rich jewel
tone to offset your new white bedding, get it. Of all
the rooms in your home, your bedroom should be
your sanctuary, your place to relax. Love your room
every time you walk in. Add a colorful area rug, or
a white faux fur rug. And, if you really want to bring
the outdoors in, consider a floral wall decal. They
come in all sizes. Depending on your choice, this
can be the statement piece in your bedroom.
The Kitchen is the heart of the home and af-
ter a long season of usage, it deserves a break as
we move to more outdoor cooking and living. Add
