e know that rat rods come in all shapes, sizes, and styles, and are
Was unique as the people who build them. As we were preparing
the “Hulk-Camino” feature we thought – wouldn’t it be cool to look
A look back through the archives and revisit some of the most extreme,
crazy, aggressive, over-the-top rats we’ve ever featured? There have
back at been some doozies… which you’ll see on these coming pages. And
while there will be crazy rats that probably belong in this segment
some of that are not listed, it doesn’t mean we don’t love them. In fact, we
may do some more collective features like this showcasing other
our most areas of interest – maybe the most budget-friendly, road-worthy,
inventive, whatever. Some of the rats featured here may also fi t
aggressive other categories as well, or be viewed differently by different people
– that’s part of the fun. As always, feel free to shoot us your ideas
features, and comments to info@ratrodmagazine.com.
In this collection, we’re highlighting vehicles that have pushed
EVER. the envelope in an aggressive way. We’re going for straight-up
nasty, in your face, jaw-droppers. Maybe it’s a ridiculous amount of
horsepower, a crazy aesthetic, or something else that just screams
“this thing’s a beast!”
Even as we focus on a very specifi c part of the rat rod scene,
you’ll see a ton of diversity and individuality. From Build-Off winners
to out-of-the-box monstrosities, the following rats represent some
of the craziest builds we have ever printed on these pages.
