the company. He said about $24,000. Then she told him that would
never happen, and he began to rant and rave again. Giselle stood her
ground this time! Apparently, after leaving the office on Saturday, he
had tried to place the down payment for the car on the company Amex
card and it was declined. You might think that would have been
enough of a sign for CRAZY that we have no money.
The next day, on Tuesday, Jerome had called me to tell me he had
words with Stephanie, so I called Giselle about noon and told her. I
began driving back to the office from my client visit because I had no
clue what kind of stuff Jerome had did. I also thought, at that point, I
don't think it quite registered with Giselle what was going on. She told
me she came out of her office and saw that Stephanie and Sally were
getting ready to go out to lunch. By the time I arrived we both could
tell Stephanie was upset and Giselle asked her if she was alright, she
told her that it was something personal.
Giselle and Stephanie were close, and she and Sally returned in an
hour. Stephanie was still crying. Giselle and Stephanie went outside to
smoke, and I guess Stephanie had told her what was going on, I guess
it then registered in Giselle's brain as to what I had called her about,
the confrontation.
Stephanie told Giselle that Jerome had threatened her, and she
did not want to go into details because she was afraid. Giselle told
Stephanie to call me and tell me about it, Giselle then told her to take
leave for a couple of days until she could get a handle on things.
