That’s Crazy
young girl finally woke up and ended the relationship. The wife had
Jerome sign the birth certificate of the new baby boy. Little did she
know, he was telling us he only signed the birth certificate because he
needed to have an additional tax write-off. So now the company was
paying an additional amount for his health insurance.
Jerome and his wife had attended my wedding. They had been
married two months prior. While at the wedding, Jerome became
offended when she asked for his jacket because she was cold. He
cursed her out in front of everyone because he was offended that she
would mess up his flow, his look; he refused to give her his jacket. He
then ordered the limousine driver (the one Daddy had arranged for
the wedding) to take her back to the hotel. He proceeded to party with
everyone else. I do not know about anyone else, but when a man

would have his weekly manicure and this fool had strategically placed
mirrors all over the office so he could see himself at any given moment
while walking around the office.
He had grown up in an abusive home and he would share bits
and pieces of how his stepfather moved the family from DC to the
Maryland suburbs, away from his mothers’ family. The stepfather kept
him and his siblings on lockdown. The first time he had gone to the
movies was at the age of seventeen. As he shared the bits and pieces
of his childhood, we would make a joke with him and started referring
to his stepfather as “Mister,” the character from the movie “Color
Purple.”
