are approximately 28,000m3 of concrete, nearly 4,000 tonnes of rebar and 13,000 tonnes of precast. The main roof is a stayed cantilevered steel truss structure fabricated utilising tubular members and complying with the Higher Execution Class 3. The concept of Execution Class is relatively new to the majority of the construction industry, providing a common approach to selecting the right level of quality and assurance controls needed to ensure the structure meets the engineer’s design assumptions. Class 3 is a high standard generally used for bridges.
Congratulations to all of the team on the completion of this landmark stadium.

Despite starting the project during Winter 2015, which saw the highest rainfall since records began, the Sisk team and over 500 tradesmen combined their talent and expertise to successfully deliver this impressive sructure within a 20-month timeframe.
