IF IT’S WORTH HAVING ITS HARD TO GET
The spark is fun, isn’t it? It’s that moment of creation when you give permission to a dream or a goal. That spark is usually accompanied by feelings of determination, optimism, passion and motivation.
Beginnings are exciting and energizing. They have the freshness of a blank page, and for most people a new endeavor can be almost intoxicating. It’s kind of like the honeymoon phase of a relationship. And just like romantic relationships, substance isn’t built in the beginning. It’s during the trials and the day-to-day encounters with each other that ‘who we are inside’ is established. It’s when we are faced with difficult choices, challenges, trials and frustrations that we become.
During this process of becoming, our dreams are either being
fulfilled or forgotten. It happens one choice at a time, because it
is the process that builds us into who we really are. 53
