Many teachers are adept at using Excel, but not many exploit the power of macros. We will provide a
clear, hands-on, and easily understood instruc�on via many per�nent examples. The idea is to move
past calculators into computer programming as state boards push this transi�on. (Please bring a laptop
with Excel loaded.) Grades 6 - 12

Stop Saying “I’m Not a Math Person”: Flipping the Script on Teacher Math Anxiety
Teachers can experience math anxiety too.. This session will explore how a teacher's beliefs about math
impact student achievement. Through polls, quizzes, and reflec�on, par�cipants will confront common
misconcep�ons, examine research, and gain strategies to build their own confidence and help their
students overcome math anxiety. Grades K - 12

Bridging Founda�ons to Standards: Heart Math Tutoring’s Expanded Learning Program
HMT closes the K–5 math gap with a seamless pipeline: scripted, manipula�ves-driven one-on-one
Number Concepts interven�ons and 3:1 small-group Classroom Connec�ons aligned to classroom
pacing. Par�cipants will engage in a 30-minute number sense lab and a grade-level problem workshop
and leave with implementa�on plans. Grades PreK - 5
