Session Changes Updates

The South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics apologizes for any

problems or inconveniences that session cancellations or changes may have caused
any of our attendees. We do our best to always deliver sessions as scheduled, but
sometimes things don’t go as planned. Unfortunately, life happens and speakers

who sincerely wanted to be here are unable to attend. This year some speaker
cancellations have occurred due to a death in the family, illness of a family member or speaker, and
the difficulty of crossing the border from Canada into the United States and getting back across.

Every year, there are cancellations beyond anyone’s control.

Please cross check the sessions that you planned to attend based on the Preliminary Program and
the Mini Program with the list of cancelled sessions listed here. Be sure to sign up for a session to

take the place of any choice that you may have made that was cancelled. Remember that you may
visit the exhibit hall at any time during the conference. You don’t have to sign up for a specific time,
but you do need to turn in your ticket at the SCCTM booth to earn credit for visiting the Exhibits.

Please check back on this page again, in case there are any other last-minute changes. There could
be emergencies that come up and a speaker may have to cancel even on the day of
the event.
