Let’s Get “Vertical”
We will share and model how we brought the joy of mathematics back into the classroom. Four
veteran teachers will share our two year journey from the traditional to a highly engaged and
interactive thinking classroom. We will model how we encourage students to make their
thinking visible and facilitate meaningful discourse on vertical surfaces. The attendees will see
first hand these strategies as they participate in a range of tasks across the secondary
curriculum.
