SCCTM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS NOVEMBER 16 - 17, 2023
The South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics apologizes for any
problems or inconveniences that session cancellations or changes may
have caused any of our attendees. We do our best to always deliver
sessions as scheduled, but sometimes things don’t go as planned.
Unfortunately, life happens and speakers who sincerely wanted to be here are at times
unable to attend. This year some speaker cancellations have occurred due to a death in
the family, illness of a family member or speaker. Every year, there are cancellations
beyond anyone’s control.
Please cross check the sessions that you planned ahead to attend based on the
Preliminary Schedule Program-at-a- Glance on the SCCTM website for the possibility of
changed sessions or cancellations. SCTTM will try to replace a last-minute canceled
session with a replacement of the same or nearly the same grade level if possible. We
have a few presenters willing to fill in. Be sure to have a back-up plan in mind to take the
place of any of your choices that have to be changed. Remember that you may visit the
exhibit hall at any time during the conference. Remember that we do have a few backup
sessions planned in case of emergencies.
Please check SCCTM.org, in case there are any other last-minute changes. There could be
emergencies that come up and a speaker may have to cancel even on the day of the
event. You may also join our text messaging service to receive updates but it’s always
possible that we aren’t notified ahead.
