Conflict for Deeper Understanding.
How can we increase rigor in the classroom? According to NCTM (2018), rigor
involves crea�ng an environment that challenges students to develop a deep
understanding of mathema�cal concepts. Join us for an engaging session on
enhancing mathema�cal understanding and rigor through produc�ve
mathema�cal conflict using Desmos Classroom ac�vi�es. Grades 6 - 8

Learn how to use resources from the classroom to create powerful learning
opportuni�es where students are the driver of their own learning. Throughout the
presenta�on atendees will see examples of sta�ons that align to their standards
with immediate implementa�on. Grades PreK - 5
