                  Visualizing in Mathema�cs: from Procedural to Conceptual

                                         Understanding in AP Courses


               In this session, we want to look between the equa�ons and visualiza�ons of

               mathema�cs in a way students can make the connec�ons leading to conceptual
               understanding. From flipping a coin in to look at normal distribu�ons, integra�on
               and the area under the curve, and much more, the focus of topics will center

               around AP Calc and Stat courses. Grades 10 – 12, Higher Educa�on

                     Keeping a Posi�ve and Engaging Classroom Culture with

                                                Student Paychecks


               Keeping kids posi�vely engaged with their learning is hard, especially in middle

               school! By using some classroom culture moments and a Student Paycheck
               system, you can keep kids posi�vely engaged in their learning, and give them
               some posi�ve incen�ves to work towards as well! Grades 3 - 8
