UltraGrip is the ultimate choice for laminating film in today’s world of digital printing. Manufactured to provide

superior adhesion, UltraGrip adhesive creates a chemical bond which allows for lamination immediately after
printing – the adhesive penetrates the boundary layer and inks to cross-link with the paper fibers. It has been through
rigorous testing and has proven its ability to stick to most printed products from the vast array of print engines*
®
available today. UltraGrip is the most reliable thermal film for bond strength, clarity and durability. It has a melting
temperature of 230 – 255°F (110 – 125°C) and is ideal for on-demand jobs produced on most digital production
®
printers. Skandacor highly recommends using UltraGrip film with hot roll laminators.
* We recommend testing digital prints with heavy coverage prior to accepting a job due to wide variation of digital mediums and substrates.

HELPFUL HINT:

When laminating digitally printed sheets, we recommend:
• Let the printed media dry (cure) for 12 to 24 hours before laminating.
®
• Laminate with UltraGrip film.
• Allow laminated print to cure for 12 to 24 hours before cutting sheets to final size.
