G reetings,

It is with much Enthusiasm, Excitement, and Energy that I invite you to the
40th Syn-Lod of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., June 23-29, 2017 in St. Louis,
Missouri, at the beautiful St. Louis Union Station Hotel.

The Investing Team, with the help of the Area III South Cluster Chapters, is
planning an exciting adventure for you as you travel to the “home of the Golden
Arches.” The adventure is so exciting that it is still unfolding, so we are all in for
some surprises. What we do know is that there will be something for everyone
and no one will leave disappointed. There will be learning experiences, volunteer
opportunities, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding ser-
vice. We will also have some very “special” guests.

For your planning, Syn-Lod will open on Friday afternoon with Institutes and Workshops. The official Joint
Opening Session is Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., but please take a look at the tentative agenda to see what you
will miss if you choose to come in on Sunday. As usual, it is strongly suggested that Chapter Presidents, 1st and
2nd VP’s, TTA Advisors/Assistant TTA Advisors, and Financial Officers attend the Institutes since this is an elec-
tion year and most chapters will have new officers. Workshops will be planned to assist incoming officers and
committee chairs with developing and implementing the necessary tools to be successful. Members are encouraged
to take advantage of all of the leadership and learning opportunities that will be offered.

Some highlights of Syn-Lod 2017 are: Community Beautification Nature Walk; Honorary Induction; TLOD/TTA
Choir Mini Concert; Ecumenical Brunch with “Special” Guests; Silent Auction; TTA Recognition Breakfast; TTA
Networking Event; Lord’s Appreciation Luncheon; Ruby Five Star Programming Luncheon; Caregivers Forum;
Community Awards Night; Health Fair/Healthy Choices; TTA College & Career Fair; Presentation of New Ladies;
Pink & Silver Ball; and “Jamming in the STL.”

For your travel and hotel information, the hotel site is 15 minutes from the Lambert-St. Louis International Air-
port. The hotel does not provide shuttle service. The cost of a cab is $30.00. We are looking into additional trans-
portation options and will provide that at a later date. A more comprehensive registration booklet with additional
pertinent information will be available as plans unfold. Please make hotel reservations as soon as possible so that
additional rooms may be added to the block, if necessary.

By your attendance at Parliamen-Top 2015 and 2016, you have let me know that you are thirsty for knowledge and
have the desire to move your chapters forward. Please continue that commitment by “Meeting me in St. Louis”
June 23-29, 2017 as we continue “Investing in V.A.L.U.E.S. that Support, Enhance, and Sustain.”
