Syn-Lod Elections – Candidate Eligibility Requirements

National TTA Elections – Top Teens of America shall adhere to procedures that are applicable for Top
Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Elections for National TTA Officers shall be held during Syn-Lod.
1. All elected officers shall be voted upon at Syn-Lod by secret ballot. Elections shall be held no later
than one day prior to the close of the convention.
2. Only two (2) Teens from a given chapter shall seek to be elected as a National TTA Officer during the
same election.
3. No member shall be elected to an office
a. Whose chapter is not in good standing.
b. Who has not been a member of TTA for at least one year after Induction
c. Who is a senior in high school.
d. Who has not attended an Area Leadership Conference.
4. All elected officers shall serve for a term of two years.
5. Teens seeking office via floor nominations must have a letter of support from the TTA Advisor
and must have parental signature of approval on official nomination form.
