fair continues to be a signature event for the Prince
George’s County Chapter, drawing in both those aspir-
ing to get or stay healthy as well as those interested in

The Prince George County Chapter of
Top Ladies and Top Teens helped Maryland residents
get their summer off to a healthy start with their
Healthcare for All Health Fair over the Memorial Day
weekend.
Sponsored by the Prince George’s County Chapter of
TLOD, Inc. in conjunction with the Prince George’s
County Sports and Learning Complex, the May 28th
health fair offered county residents free screenings for Area III
sickle cell disease, HIV/AIDS and high blood pressure;
literature on breast and prostate cancer, hospice and Chicago Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction,
lead poisoning; free healthy food; and other health and
wellness activities. Inc. participated in the March for Babies Walk at Grant

A special highlight of the health fair was the success of
the Colgate Dental Van. Approximately 50 children and
teenagers lined up to get free checkups from volunteer
dental professionals, who found everything from cavi-
ties to a dislocated jaw.
