RectorSeal
partnership
THE REECE GROUP has announced a new part- nership with RectorSeal distributing the compa- ny's cleaning range for the HVACR industry.
Founded in 1937, RectorSeal developed the first Coil Cleaner in the USA in the late 1970’s and is still a leading manufacturer of chemical clean- ing products.
Due to their pedigree in chemical creation and production, the cleaning range is of the highest quality, and continues to evolve and optimize the formulas for top performance – Better dilu- tion rates, Biodegradable ingredients, Superior foaming actions.

For a better tomorrow
TECUMSEH UNITS FROM Actrol and Reece Hvac have been approved to run on more re- frigerants.
The leading global manufacturer has recently tested the use of R448A, R449A, R452A or R513A on its compressor models, and the results are in.

More refrigerants
BALTIMORE AIRCOIL COMPANY (BAC) has introduced the Vertex Evaporative Condenser, where peak reliability meets easy maintenance.
The Vertex Condenser offers maximum up- time with easy and safe accessibility. It also has the lowest total cost of ownership with the low- est installation, maintenance, and operating costs, according to Dave Klee, BAC director of sales and marketing for North America.
“At BAC, we begin our innovation process by seeking to understand what our customers re- ally need and want from us. In the case of the Vertex Evaporative Condenser, it was clear that there were many things they liked about our existing VCA product, but that there were opportunities to make it even better,” Klee said. “The condenser combines what custom- ers like most about the VCA with compelling new innovations for the future. And of course, the Vertex Condenser uses evaporative cool- ing, so it’s an inherently sustainable solution for industrial refrigeration and other industrial process applications. Our customers asked for easy maintenance and access and the Vertex has the largest access door which easily ac- commodates a 6.5-foot tall person.” According to Phil Hollander, the company's business manager of refrigeration, technicians’ feet also stay dry while inspecting the low-volume basin from the internal walkway.
“Inspection of all nozzles is also fast and easy with the optional pre-assembled platforms at an ergonomic working height,” he said.
“The Vertex Condenser alleviates confined space limitations and customers have already

reacted very positively to the overall design.” Hollander said the condenser reduces installa- tion costs by 30 per cent, in part by aligning the upper section to the lower section in less than 15 minutes per cell, due to the industrial-grade rigidity of the unit. Water volume is reduced by up to 30 per cent, saving on water and chemical costs.
“This helps reduce the operating weight by an average of 16 per cent,” Hollander said. “The condenser uses a direct-drive EC Fan System, which maximizes reliability and uptime.”

A sustainable solution
EFFICIENT ENERGY GMBH is an innovative manu- facturer and system supplier of environmentally- friendly refrigeration technology, based in Feldkirchen near Munich, Germany.
The company uses pure water (R718) as the refriger- ant in its eChiller product range, thereby entirely avoid- ing fluorinated refrigerants.
Moreover, the eChillers' cooling capacities range from 20 to 45 kW depending on model, and the indi- vidual units can be scaled modularly to up to 300 kW.
The refrigeration machines are ideally suited to cool- ing server rooms, buildings and industrial processes.
