Mimaki: Visual Impact & Fespa
Mimaki has just launched its first direct to film (DTF) inkjet printer, the TxF150-75, at its Global Innovation Days event. Using a heat-based transfer method, the printer is
aimed at premium, customised merchandising, sportswear and various other promotional textile applications. Built-in ink circulation system and degassed ink pack design
prevent common DTF issues, such as poor ink ejection and white ink clogging. The core technologies also include the nozzle check unit and nozzle recovery system.
Mimaki will also have several wide format printers from its graphics range on show at both Visual Impact and Fespa.
Pozitive / swissQprint: Visual Impact & Fespa
Supplied by Pozitive in Australia, swissQprint claims it is the only manufacturer of large format UV printers to have the energy efficiency of its current range re-certified. All models again scored excellently, so users can continue expecting proven low power consumption.
The swissQprint flatbed printers Kudu, Nyala 4, Nyala 4S and the roll to roll printers Karibu 2 and Karibu S have power needs that are “very low” in relation to performance, which saves costs and resources.
Mutoh: Visual Impact & Fespa
The 1341SR Pro and 1641SR Pro (1.37m and 1.63m wide, respectively) are the second generation for Mutoh’s XpertJet sign and display range, and will form part of the showcase on the Mutoh stand at both shows. The new AccuFine printhead, which is 33 per cent wider and has 11 per cent more nozzles than previous heads, meant a big step up for the XpertJet brand.
Mutoh also has its new XpertJet 1682SR 1.63m-wide printer in its new eight-colour setup, which features the addition of orange inks (CMYK+LcLmLk+Or).
Spicers: Visual Impact
Spicers has a huge range of sign and display consumables to explore, from Ace Screenboard and Ace Outdoor, to Corflute and Re-Board. Wrap media includes the 3M 2080 Wrap Film, and the new 3M IJ 280 print wrap film. A highlight is sure to be the Green Spotlights, a range of sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions, selected from the Spicers portfolio, to highlight important environmental product features and benefits.
Durst: Fespa
Durst will be having it biggest booth yet at Fespa, showing the P5 350 HS D4 with automation options. It will also have its textile and super wide format P5 500R with full X/Y cutting built in. And it says there will be some surprises.
HP: Visual Impact & Fespa
For HP, the exhibitions are a chance to showcase its water-based sustainable printer portfolio, including a selection of versatile HP Latex roll-to-roll printers, hybrid printers and print and cut solutions, as well what it claims is the fastest production poster printer in the
world, the PageWide XL Pro 10000 with sheet stacker.
HP says it has solutions for everything from posters, to signage and billboards, and says that is combined with an ability to support the market through its channel partnerships, application and business specialists, tech and engineering support.
