Executive Summary - continued






               We have particular experience which is complimentary to the Queens Quay, Clydebank project.
               The particular areas which we wish to highlight are :

                 Extensive and current experience of large scale public sector infrastructure projects for Dundee City
                 Council at Dundee Waterfront and Aberdeen City Council at Union Terrace Gardens, Aberdeen.
                 We have previously managed riverside developments and projects with listed docks and quay walls
                 requiring extensive repairs. Also the introduction of new roads and infrastructure to areas which
                 were originally dockland and associated industrial land. (Please also refer to our relevant examples
                 within Appendix J)


               We therefore have the skills to engage with Dawn Developments, Clydeside Regeneration Limited and
               West Dunbartonshire Council to undertake the appropriate management, leadership, reporting and
               communications functions. We have proposed an experienced project team who have complimentary
               experience, excellent leadership skills and who will strive to seek to add value to the project.
               Our strategy and approach is to :

                 Provide strategic direction to the ‘’front end’’ of the project.
                 Undertake a proactive approach to project risk.
                 Adopt a ’’front end loading’’ approach to the project...….i.e. maximising the early  activities and due
                 diligence, to mitigate risk and provide comfort to Dawn Group, Clydeside Regeneration Limited and
                 West Dunbartonshire Council on the robustness of the contract v the project scope.
                 In our role as Contract Administrator, provide excellent project communication and ensure that all
                 participants are working in the best interests in the project.
                 Focus on managing the project team to ensure that they provide an exemplar service.
                 Engender teamwork and create tangible value.

                 Focus on technical detail throughout the project cycle.
                 Maintain a diligent approach to create trust in all that we do.

               We feel that these are key reasons, which we feel are relevant to the Client team, to consider selecting
               Ryden Project Management to undertake a CA service and to manage and support the Queens Quay
               development.
