There are generally 2 types of traditional Wajik
food in Kuantan Singingi Regency, namely Wajik Takiak
with a wet texture and Wajik Lopur with a dry texture.
Wajik Lopur is usually served at Eid Mubarak.
The process of making Wajik Lopur is considered
unique, namely by the drying process of steamed white
sticky rice. In order to make Wajik Lopur tastes more
crispy, the drying process usually takes more than one
day.
