Preface

Praise and gratitude are extended to Allah SWT for His blessings and guidance,
which have made the completion of this learning media possible. Appreciation is

also sincerely conveyed to all parties who contributed to its development,
including supervisors, lecturers, teachers, and the students of SMPIT Harapan
Mulia Palembang.

This learning media is developed to support English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
instruction through the integration of local cultural content in audiovisual form. It

aims to enhance students’ reading comprehension skills while fostering cultural
awareness by connecting English learning with familiar cultural contexts.

It is hoped that this media can serve as a meaningful supplementary resource for
teachers and provide students with a more engaging, contextual, and culturally

relevant English learning experience. Constructive feedback and suggestions are
welcomed for future improvement.
