Learning Objective
PHASE D
At the end of Phase D, learners use oral, written, and visual texts in English to interact and
communicate in more diverse contexts and in both formal and informal situations.
Learners can use various types of texts such as descriptions, narratives, and procedures
related to local culture, which become the main reference in integrating cultural literacy
in this phase. Their understanding of written texts is progressing, and inference skills
begin to appear when understanding implied information related to local cultural content.
Learners produce written and visual texts in English that are structured and use more
diverse vocabulary related to local culture. They understand the purpose and audience
when producing written and visual texts in English, particularly in expressing cultural
values and promoting awareness of local culture.
