- REDEMPTION -

few drinks before coming back to the office. Mr. Rothman com-
plained to the agency that she was an alcoholic. She obviously
needed a drink to continue working with Mr. Rothman. He
attacked another lady on her first day of employment and left
her shaking like a leaf. She was able to handle the pressure,
but she called it quits around the second week.
Even switching to a different agency didn't work. The word
between the agencies must have spread, causing them to re-
quest cash up-front before they would even send a candidate
out to our office. It was highly unusual for an agency to re-
quire cash payment in advance- but absolutely necessary
                           when dealing with Mr. Rothman.
Definition: Sabotage - "The act or process tending to ham-
                           per or hurt. Deliberate subversion."
Subversion "A cause of overthrow or destruction."
Dr. Chandler described Mr. Rothman as "nasty, cruel and
that he was going to destroy everybody in sight in any devi-
ous way." I witnessed Dr. Chandler's description of Mr.
Rothman's behavior almost on a daily basis.
Most of the time attorneys are trustworthy and carry them-
selves, with staff and clients, on a professional basis. They are
held to a high professional standard and code of ethics. If you
are able to afford their legal fees, you will generally receive
quality and professional services. I know there are individu-
als who may have had unfavorable experiences with attorneys
or law firms. I can only speak for myself and what I have heard
from others. I do not want anyone reading this book to think
that all attorneys are like Mr. Rothman. Mr. Rothman is in a
class all by himself. I also do not want to discourage anyone
from hiring an attorney should they need one, or from work-
ing in the legal field or discourage anyone from becoming an
attorney. What I experienced with Mr. Rothman, I have never
experienced with any other attorney or law firm in my entire
                           legal career.
The legal profession is, to me, one of the greatest fields in
which to work. It is challenging and full of excitement, with
all levels of professional people working side by side towards
