9. Just as the hills etc., in a picture are not painted to appear as dressed, so also the inert objects like
earth, clay etc. in the creation are not endowed with the reflection of Consciousness.

10. The illusion of considering this transmigration (of Jiva) as real and affecting the Supreme Self
(the substratum) is called ignorance. It is removed only by the knowledge of the Supreme Self.
