AIC KIJABE ARISING IN TANA RIVER
This year marked our first ever graduation of MNCH trained CHVs in
Tana River County. The CHVs had the full Basic Community Health
training curriculum along with the full Maternal Newborn training Curriculum.
This was through a joint effort led by the Garissa based MNCH team
supported by Kijabe based MNCH team. We were delighted to be joined in
this training by AIC Kijabe hospital Director General Dr. Ken Muma and the
hospital’s Director of Clinical Services Dr. Evelyn Mbugua.
