Celso Agner, MD Host of the South
Celso Agner, M.D., is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology and has been practicing Florida Healthcare
in this field since 2004. After finishing fellowship training in neurological critical care/stroke and
interventional neuroradiology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, he joined the
University of Illinois at Chicago as an assistant professor of neurosurgery in 2006. Dr. Agner also Networking Group
served as a neurologist/interventional neurologist and director of the neurointerventional program at
Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center, St. John Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and
Oakwood Hospital in Michigan. While completing his visiting fellowship training at the Medical
College of Wisconsin, Dr. Agner served as an on-staff neurologist at hospitals in Illinois and
Wisconsin.
Dr. Agner has been published in more than 40 publications including national and international AVENTURA
journals and has authored more than 10 book chapters and has had more than 60 abstracts published
