Painting Light And Expressing Color (Gr 8-12, Full Day) VS06D19
Develop skill and confidence with paint in this popular program! Participants explore the impact of light and shadow within their works, using these ethereal forces to alter mood and tone. Artists also delve into color theory, mixing their own colors and creating a personal pallette to communicate a desired message. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate the artists’ accomplishments and view their work as part of our Friday student exhibit.

+ YogArt (Gr 8-12, Full Day) VS07E19
Stretch in literal and metaphorical ways in this interdisciplinary program! Participants will engage in a daily yoga practice and delve into other movement techniques to calm, center, and challenge themselves. They will also explore other planes of consciousness through visual art, drawing inspiration from surrealism, dreams, meditation, and more. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate the artists’ accomplishments and view their work as part of our Friday student showcase and exhibit.
