My ethnic identity has been developed during my whole life and it has three main

aspects.

I. I’m Ecuadorian
a. We are kind people

b. We are superstitious

II. I’m Catholic
a. My family has taught me things about God

b. I have learnt important values

III. I’m a mixture of cultures
a. I have lived in different places

b. I like to take qualities from those places

STEP 4: FIRST DRAFT

Life - experiences define our ethnic identity. My ethnic identity has been developed during

my whole life and it has three main aspects. I’m Ecuadorian, I’m Catholic and I’m a mixture
of cultures.

One aspect of my identity is that I’m Ecuadorian. People from all around the world know us

like kind people. In my country most of people are superstitious.

Another aspect is that I’m Catholic. Since I was a child my family has taught me things about
God. I have learnt important values.

Another important aspect of my ethnic identity is that I’m a mixture of cultures. I have lived
in different places. I like to take qualities and costumes from those places.
