FINAL REFLECTION

Throughout this semester I acquired a lot of knowledge. And specifically in this
subject called Writing II, I had the opportunity to learn many things. Therefore, I would like

to describe how has this syllabus contributed to the improvement of my English skills and to
achieve the goals described in the program’s exit profile.

This syllabus contributed to the improvement of my English skills for some reasons.
First, I have learnt many things that helped me to improve my writing skill. For example I

have learnt things about academic writing. In addition, this syllabus helped me to improve

the other English skills. I have improved my speaking skill thanks to the presentations that I
have done in class. Then, I have improved my reading skill because I have to read a lot to

understand the structures of texts. Finally, I have improved my listening skill because the

teacher was always talking about the subject and I have had to listen to her to understand
things.

This syllabus contributed to achieve the goals described in the program’s exit profile
in some ways. For example, I have learnt to design didactic materials by using NTIC’s. I

have done that by using tools like power point to make presentations. I also had the
opportunity to use new tools like Flip and Mendeley. In addition, I have done some research

giving rise to participatory research, problem-based learning and teamwork. For example, I

have researched about migration and other issues. So that, this syllabus has contributed to
achieve the goals in the program’s exit profile.

In summary, this semester has contributed a lot to increase my knowledge about the

English language. Mainly, this subject has taught me important and interesting things. I’m
sure that everything that I have learnt is very helpful. As it has been demonstrated, the

learning results reached are adequate. Although it was often difficult, I believe that I am

achieving my goals thanks to this subject called Writing II. But there is still a lot to do to
achieve my goals as a student to fulfill my dreams.
