BELIEFS AND ATTITUDES
Barangay La Mesa’s Sangguniang Kabataan is an active
organization which is part of the local government. They have
conducted many projects and programs in promoting the social
capital of the youth in the community namely; SK Mandatory
Training, Youth Parade, Global Youth Summit, Larong
Pinoy, Cluster Games, and Katipunana ng Kabataan Asssembly.
The Committee of Youth and Sports Development is mainly the
one in charge of all these.
Each summer, leagues for the youth are done in order to
promote values such as sportsmanship, discipline, team
work, and others. This is important because it is one of the ways
the community is protecting and uplifting its youth and creates a
culture that is suitable and will promote growth among the
youth.
